Mortgage Loan Checklist
Please follow this mortgage loan checklist, which will enable us to obtain your home mortgage loan approval as quickly and easily as possible. Please include the following information, where applicable, with your loan application:
1) The Purchase and Sale Agreement, the property's Legal Description, the Seller's Disclosure and the Lead Based Paint Disclosure.
2) Your paycheck stubs for the past 30 days, or a signed 30 day print out from your employer which shows your paycheck history.
3) A current Proof of Income Letter from the Social Security Administration (if applicable). If you do not have a letter that is current, you may request one by contacting your local Social Security Office, or by visiting Social Security Online Services.
4) All forms W-2 and 1099 for the past two years from all employers (this also includes unemployment compensation, if applicable).
5) If you are in sales, commissioned, a driver, self-employed, or have rental property, please provide complete Federal Tax Returns for the past two years, as well as a year-to-date Profit and Loss Statement.
6) Please provide the name(s), address(es), and telephone number(s) for your landlord(s) from the past two years, or copies of the fronts and backs of your canceled checks for the past two years.
7) We will also need, for all borrowers, copies of your drivers licenses or state ID cards.
8) If applicable, please provide your divorce and/or child support paperwork. We will also need a one-year Friend of the Court payment history.
9) For all of your current debt, we will need your account numbers, balances, and payment amounts.
10) Please provide us with a copy of two months of your bank statements, or a 90 day bank activity print out stamped and signed by the bank(s).
11) We will also need copies of your most recent statement(s) for any asset account(s), such as 401k, IRA, life insurance, etc.
12) In addition, VA mortgages require your DD214 and Certificate of Eligibility Statement.
13) If applicable, we will need your Bankruptcy paperwork (all schedules and addendums), as well as your Discharge Notice.
14) Finally, we will need your appraisal fee as specified by your mortgage professional.
